Hello All,
Ok I'm new to ZBrush. Just bought it on Friday and worked with it over the weekend. I followed the Character Modeling tutorial on the ZBrush practical guide.
My question is this. How do i get back and forth between posing ZSpheres and editing the unified skin? Once I have the Unified skin I cant find the option to view the ZSpheres to edit the pose.
TIA

You can't do it with Unified Skins, but you can do it with Adaptive Skins. You can use the "Preview" button to switch back and forth between your ZSphere model and the preview of the Adaptive Skin model.
to add on to what WingedOne said, the hotkey for toggling that Preview button is simple "A".

Thanks for the replies
What I have done is this. In Adaptive Skin I have upped the Density to 5 and then I can edit it in Preview. Undo preview and pose. But I am limited to the density I edit at.
I do see Unified Skin, but don't see the correlation with editing and posing the ZSpheres. If I click on Unified skin. What is it doing?

Hi,
If you click on "make unified skin", ZBrush creates a new tool according to the parameters set for density, smoothness and so on. As already mentioned, you can not go back and forth from Adaptative skin to Zsphere, but you can create variants of your Zsphere model as tools.
Do not forget to save the newly created tools if you wish to keep them for further modelling work.

Edit : I wrote : "you can not go back and forth from Adaptative skin to Zsphere..."
Should read : You can not go back and forth from unified skin to Zsphere...
