Hi, does someone knows if there is a way of changing the size of a texture (2048->1024) without changing his positioning in the model? I won't mind if I lost a bit of the model's details, but don't want to make the entire texture again.
Thanks

Hi, tanks for the help, but I don't want to cut a piece of my texture, I just want to drop the resolution to make it more light(my PC have 128mb ram). I also want to make a polimesh with two or more models and I will have double the texture(if I don't the model texture will scrambled and will have a lot of gaps an seams).
Does someone knows if I can change the resolution without scrambling all the texture in the model?
Thanks
You can reduce the texture size by setting the canvas to whatever size you want and then unwrapping the texture onto it. Then use the MRGBZGrabber to capture the new size.
This process and using the MultipleMarker tool to make a composite mesh are both troublesome with AUVTiles, though. AUVTiles will give best results if you paint your texture only after you have completed all of your modeling and determined the size of the texture that you want. This is because it is a precision mapping method and as such has very little margin for error. Changing the texture size or creating a composite mesh (which results in a composite texture) both usually introduce error beyond the AUVTiles' acceptable limits. The bottom line is that it's best to plan ahead. :)
More on AUVTiles and how to get the best results with it can be found here (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=010200).
