View Full Version : Thatch Covered Beach Hut (WIP)
I finally decided to spend some time on a project and see how it would turn out. This is part 1, others will follow, but since I am not going to be working on this all the time . I will post other images in the interim.

Nice colour values, Doc! :tu:
(I think it's time for you to check out some threads on 'baking' when the search function on the forum allows!)
This is a wonderful start, and I can feel the warmth, and glare of the sun in this piece!
Does THIS bring back memories of Cancun!!
So sunny I had to squint all the way to the cervasa hut!! WOW.
This just brings back so many smells, and feelings and memories. I had to rightclick and keep this one.
Ocho!! Ocho Cervasa!!!

the only thing missing in that image is me sitting in the shade with a tall glass of something fruity and cold....You capture the atmosphere of what I can only imagine the Caymans are like...and a gentle breeze..ah.....outta curiosity, what does the humidity run there on paradise island? We stay around 90 percent humidity year round...
Ron :) :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
Thanks for the tip SC will go look for the topic in QuickLinks.
The Caymans are very much like Cancun, only better :D :D
Ron, the average temperature is 79 degrees F and the average humidity is in the mid fifties.
Cool pic DeeVee. I don't know why, but the thing I really like about it is the shadow of the hut. It just looks neat. :)
