So Sis...Into enigmatic female mode now, are we? ;)
The color touches on the hair are really a nice touch, and draw me into the image immediately... :tu: :tu: :tu:
The mood in this is enchanting, and the color control to not cause any part to supersede any other is very well conceived!
Nice one, toots!

I love the little sparkely effect you used on her hair (and on the other nude). Most impressive. Was she modeled from one piece? Did you model all of it (those hands-very good!)? I too like this theme. good work.

artfully sexy ....very nice choice of colors to say the least :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
Hi rabbit, and thank you!
I should have noted, that the enigmatic woman is indeed a P4 poser chic. I turned her into a ZTool modified a bit, and Textured in texture master.
The hair is also a basic P4 hair model. I did extensive modifying in ZBrush, again Texture master was used.
Sorry folks, should have stated these things right off the bat. :D
Thanks Stonecutter (can you tell I'm releasing stress via art)
DeeVee, thank you for such a strong positive statement. ;)
Thank you Ron, I always lean heavily on color.

Hi Kathy. A very beautiful image. Well done.
Thank you all for your kind words and observations.

Juandel,
Where the idea came from is actually a convergence.
I need a 6 piece tearsheet set for marketing purposes. That need surfaced about the same time as I was considering creating a piece with the flavor of Gustav Klimt. Which occured about the same time that my personal life gained the Gforce of about 22.
So letting off steam, meeting a need, and expressing a favorite style caused the technique. Which is actually incredibly simple.
Creating a large background painting with layered fog affects rendered and rerendered with different lights.
Taking that background and using it as a texture or additional texturing on top of realistic textures of hair and skin.
render and rerender with a few more fogs (using the background pic as the fog texture and alpha)
The core spark came from "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt

That is my ultimate favorite piece of artwork. (The Kiss)

HOW LOVELY!!! a sumptuous depiction :tu: :tu: :tu:
doc! You know better than to think a question is stupid, particularly around me! ;)
Good Question.
Nope. I haven't bought it. It's bookmarked at this point. Everytime I go to buy it, my eyes are diverted to more RAM, more books, more software, and all the other things a 16 year old daughter brings to a pocketbook. ;)
But the page is bookmarked! hee hee
