Select the 3dplane tool and draw onto canvas
click on edit
go to deformations> noise - add noise two or three times
go to Make PolyMesh 3d and make a polymesh of the ztool plane3d
go to Gemoetry and divide at least three times
go to deformations > noise and add noise two or three times
scale to your liking
NEXT OPTIONS:
1. use the scuplt tools to add details using zadd and some zsub to the brush
then go to deformations> smooth and smooth two or three times
NOTE:
When you add noise then smooth and repeat helps to get finer feathering of the deckle
(image uses this option)
2. use projection master to add details with simple brush and alphas
3. add sub tools for details (like butterfkies for pressed into paper) and transpose into the plane3d paper tool for a light bas relief look.

Thanks spaceboy412

Thanks The Cheshire Cat:)

The adding noise before making polymesh3d helps in making the feathering deckle around the paper.

One more this time when at edit mode mentioned above go to >deformations > spherize and do about five or six times makes a circle sheeet of paper.
Note because the spherize makes the center of the plane3d tool more rounded when you make polymesh3d and go to gemoetry > divide will need to divide about 6 to 7 times or more.

The image shows round paper though not complete detailing onto the paper but shows the feathering round the edges making the deckle.

NOTE on (from first post):
"NEXT OPTIONS:
1. use the scuplt tools to add details using zadd and some zsub to the brush
then go to deformations> smooth and smooth two or three times"
When you add noise then smooth and repeat helps to get finer feathering of the deckle
