That's a very good rendition of mushrooms that I've seen growing around ferntree gully. That classic bend, and the hint of a bump at the top. Do I detect a hint of blue in the texture? About a dozen would make a very nice breakfast.

PS if it's a wacom they just released their latest driver 4.71

I had a tablet on my want list, I was told that I could do it all with a mouse so I refrained. Now, the only ones available around here are the big ones, and I cannot justify spending that amount at this time. I am glad you like it though, and judgeing from your images, you appear to have mastered it quickly.

DeeVee, the difference is that with a stylus you can forget you're using a computer...You just have a 'Magic Pen' in your hand! For a painter like you, it would be a fine investment...I have the Wacom 8 X 6, and it's been great for me. ;)

Painting with a mouse compared to a pen is uncomparable. It can be done with a mouse, but with a tablet it feels so ...right. Only way to describe it. I only have the wacom graphire, It's the cheaper one, but I love it.

Though I can't do anything as good as syco just showed us. ~s~

i love using a tablet... just for art thought,cant stand using the pen for other apps... anyhoo.. i like the new character.. hes turned out really well... keep rockin with some more images..

Very nice mushrooms! Really realistic, and not unlike the ones that I used to gather from the woods for the dinner table.

Not only are these well modeled and textured, but the material settings are perfect to give just the right sheen. Great job!
