View Full Version : Robo Blading
Down here in Redondo Beach, Ca. there is the Strand where most days you can find people biking, rollerblading, skateboarding and walking enjoying the ocean and the fresh salt air. I doubt most californians would give ole Robo here a second glance as he rolls out for his evening excercise.

Mentat's Ztool thread was the perfect inspiration for me to do what I have wanted to try for a long time. Which is to create a full body image using parts and to get them to align and be in proportion. I hope I did a fair job.
I used most of Mentat's roboparts, a few of my own, Pixolator's wheels, Martin's superdooper hands and a building texture I got off the net somewhere
Thanks for viewing!
Cool! That is a very good robot. I love the roller blades as well.

Fantastic and outrageous! If Robo only knew what you had in store for him!! :D Just goes to show you we all see things differently. Truly original and inspirational! Where by chance did you get those hands? :tu: :tu: :tu:
Thank you all for your comments. I wanted to do some more to this image but my document got corrupted, but at least I got one render out of it. This was a lot of fun to make, I encourage everyone to grab some roboparts and do it!
Mentat, you can find Martin's great hand models here

:D :D :D doing the strand. i’m not sure whether this rob is looling like a leisure-time one or like being on an errand - or being chased but it is a great full-body pic with loads of great details, beuatifully arranged and mucho dynamic. a winner!

Digits, this is great stuff. The sense of movement is well accomplished. Aligning the various parts, from where I sit, worked well. :tu: :tu: :tu:
