Why can't I edit my 3d model anymore? I looked in the FAQ, but I didn't understand a thing of it :(

Help me please! :)

Ok............here are the basics....

Once modelling.......touch any of the other tools in the left hand menu box......of the floating menu your model ceases to be 3D.

However, if you do click on any of the tools in the left hand box.......no problem......all you have to do is press control and Z......this will clear the model on the screen.......then look in the lefthand box of the floating menu........there you will find your model.....click on it....then sweep down the screen keeping your mouse button down........your model should be on screen. Then click on the edit tool of the floating menu........now you can continue modelling your model. If you are unsure where edit is press the key 't'.

OK so I understand the marker thing, but how do I get an object from the current marker state?

But I want to color my object, and brush it up. I have to use the brush for that, and then I can't edit anymore!

There are a number of different ways......

Have your model on screen with edit still on....find the menu for colour.......look for "Fill object' or the like click on that.......then use floating menu pallet for colour you want....continue modelling....in colours

If you have texture master and read and watch the tutorials

Do you have tex master in the zscript folder of zbrush ver1.23b directory??

Wouter

ZScripts, and I created it's own folder for Texmaster. I unzipped everything in there.

If it doesn't work as above post.....copy tex master into zscript folder...ie out of the folder you created

I did already, and it still doesnt work!

I think I'm gonna install ZBrush again, see if there's something wrong there.

i cant find the thread, wouters... but take care that your zbrushfolder reads zbrush 123b and not 1.23b or the like! the . is good for making problems!

I'll update my version asap, and see if it works.
