I LOVE Agent Smith!!! and this very nice Pic, too! =)

I think thats the best character in this movie, and the actor meets this role perfectly.

Heh, heh,

after the first movie, we all thought Agent Smith was gone for good, and he would have no more role in the story. But now after watching the second movie, I think that Agent Smith may be the ultimate evil that must be defeated by Neo, even moreso than the 'machines'. The theme in the second movie is that humans need the machines to survive, and we already knew the machines need humans for their own survival, but Agent Smith may be trying to kill and destroy everything. We'll see in November.

Hi, Jay!

Did you know that, when the film ended and the credits where over, some scenes of the third part where shown? As I was in cinema only a dozen of ca. 300 people (very big cinema) knew it and stayed there to watch these scenes! There you could see some very little parts of the final fight between Neo and Smith! stunning, but way too short :)

btw: the story of matrix is taken from a japanese (?) comic. Does somebody have links where I can get some information about this?

greets!

Froyd, yes I've seen the previews. I've seen the movie twice, once at an IMAX, which was great. The first time I saw the previews, I assumed that the female narrator was the Oracle. But the second time I saw just a blip of Persephone in the previews, and I believe that the narrator of the previews is Persephone, not the Oracle. I have a feeling that the Architect and the Merovingian will not survive Neo in the third movie. Neo also fights with the Oracle's bodyguard once again, according to the previews.

Hi Froyd
I have the impression that matrix has so many inspiration :D
A speedy travel in google gives that
"From traditional Japanese line drawings and wood block prints to "Astro Boy" through to modern day Manga classics like "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell" the documentary tells the interesting story behind the Matrix's influences."
"Matrix" creators Larry and Andy Wachowski are fervent anime fans, who cite "Akira," Mamoru Oshii's "Ghost in the Shell" and Kawajiri's "Ninja Scroll" as influences on their work. In a recent online discussion, they noted, "In anime, one thing they do that we tried to bring to our film was a juxtaposition of time and space"
