View Full Version : Trying New Settings. Frosted Glass
I have been experimenting with different settings, just to see what the outcome would be. I must admit some of the results have been to say the least surprising. This is one of them. Comments please. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1008914249lih.jpg

outstanding microscopic beauty... excellent! :tu: :tu: :tu:
is this all a material effect, DeeVee? or light/rendering settings changed, too? 2D? 2.5D? 3D? anyway... looking marvelous!

i think your on to something there deevee... if it was a light blue with white just like the image above you would have a bathroom sliding door...
This looks like corroded metal or a sandblasted surface that is reflecting colors. Very beautiful. What are the settings? I could use something like this :tu:
I agree wtih dr. j this looks like a shower door! cool affect. Did you save it as a new material?

Britney's Navel close up--without my reading glasses?? --very nice :)
Well you folks are asking questions that are somewhat difficult to answer, the reason being I did several images and this one turned out more like something useful, so I saved it, and posted it for you folks to see.
Basically, what I did was lay some colour down with low intensity, then I blended them and then added noise within the various colors. At least that is what I think I did. It was very early morning when this was done so the brain might have been suffering from oxygen deprivation. Try the info. above and see what you come up with.
A few folks asked how this was done. I did a quick ZScript to show the basics, You just play with it until you get the result you are after. Please let me know if this helps.
