i have been playin around with the deform tools alot and i would like to try and model amotorcycle. this is what im doing. i make my tire and tread then mark it then i make a rim for the tire. then with the multimarker i bring them together but i cannot for the life of me line them up. am i doing this right or is there an easier way?

some times the images appear to be side by side but one could be set off way to the back or front...... sooooooooo do not touch any images and Rotate the hole thing little by little to adjust it.... and if one image has a slight Tilt to it hit the letter R on your keyboard it can be a little trickey

when trying to use the multimarker tool you should already have a marker on the canvas for the tire.. you should be able to select your new part like your rim and put your cursor over the tire marker until you see the little arrow facing down and then just drag into place.. then use your multi marker tool to set it into stone..

Okay i know this is a basic txt, but it gives you an idea of how I would align two objects together quickly. Please note that I have no intentions of marking the objects, although this is always an option with Zbrush, it can take alot of time to set up a complex multi marked object, so if I dont need to mark an object then i dont!
I place a 3D plane virtical onto the lowest layer and then on the second layer I draw the objects, note how I drop the silver ball the I drop the outer ring away from the ball but still on the 3D plane, I then use the blue part of the spherical controler to move the ring into place! please try this text, I hope that it helps you.

My approach with the multimarker tool is to not place items in the scene while modeling. Instead, place the individual pieces at perfect alignment along the XYZ axes (use Transform:Move:Info). This makes it much easier to get the lined up right before converting to a polymesh. Once the piece has been created, then clear the layer and draw the new polymesh in position. When you place the new marker, it will be for the polymesh, rather than for the pieces that make it up.
