I am reworking a version of golum I made a while ago. Thanks to pix for the tri and quadshaders I'm trying to get a good skin effect.
I'm not done with this one , until I'm satisfied with it :p

I like this alot. I also have tried to use a photo in the background of an image of mine. Your results are very much better. :tu: :tu: :tu:

I like the golum's face, and the grey shade of the skin, which looks good with the background.
the things I don't like here are his shoulders - The muscles should be placed higher.
Another thing is that in your lighting you completely ignore the lighting of your background - notice that in the background the main light comes from the upper-right-behind corner, which is almost totaly the opposite as for the light source of the golum. thats all.. keep on the good work!

Good on you for giving it a shot.
Without any offense intended your pick really made my day mate I swear I nearly died from laughter, maybe its how his eye rotates around further then it normal possible rotation :)
My recomendation is to work the the planes of his head. Maybe inanother package for control or in ZB.
