i didn't know what else to call this guy, so that's why he has a bizzarre tital. i modeled this head a while back when i was bored and just now got around to texturing him. i haven't finished him, so next chance i get, i'll post an update. he will have some sort of teeth and more bumps on his skin. he might have some sort of horns coming out from the back of his head and his eye color might even change. i'm still unsure about what i'm going to do w/ him. anyway, here's the pic. comments and suggestions welcome.

I really like the texture , I havent figured out yet how to make bumps and scratches with TextureMaster , but you did a great job.
only suggestion I could give you is too go easy on the yellow eyes :)

First of all, Jib...Nice head. :tu:
Something I would like to suggest, and this doesn't just apply to you is that it is a good idea going in, to have a plan...Otherwise you end up with disconnected heads. I like to think of a scene first, then model for that scene the objects needed. Trying to 'retro-fit' a model into a scene later is a lot harder. Although ZEE can let you sit down and 'doodle' a model, it's considerably better, in my opinion, to start with an idea, then model...paintings work that way, and as Pixologic says, 'this is a program for producing images...'

Therefore, as a painter, I would suggest a little study of traditional compositional and other traditional painting subjects would be of benefit to us all...

(But I like the head! :tu: )

stonecutter, i think it is a good idea to plan an image before starting one, (and i usually do) but i just felt like texturing something, plus i needed a break from my "Hunter" project, so i decided to put this guy together real quick and see how he turned out. i also wanted to check out some alphas i hadn't ever used. this isn't a big project for me or anything, it's just a quick little "doodle", i might say.

Nice "doodle". I am certain this image could be incorporated into a project very easily.

Of course just modeling heads is fine if you are just doing head studies to learn the ropes. Right everyone??? That's what I've been doing. Baby steps...baby steps...

well, it's not much of a change, but it's probably all i'm doing unless someone has a suggestion on how to change it. i'm considering putting him as a dead monster on the battlefield of my Hunter project, so you might see him in the background.
