What a wonderfully happy cheerful tick. :) Please tell us it's one of a kind. I hope there's only one of them around. :)

:tu: Really great work!

another great piece. very nicely done.....love the expression. By the way, where is the script that allows spreading out the texture map flatly. I looked under untilities zcript at the pixologic site and didn't see anything that did uv map flattening.

To spread the texture map out (as you call it) simply go to TOOL>MODIFIERS>TEXTURE> and press COL>TXR which then gives you a copy of the texture un-wrapped in the texture panel on the other side of the screen. You can then save that out as a PSD or BMP.

And don`t forget that with TextureMaster you can set the size of your texture at the start of a job anyway.

Serious  there, Glen! You've clearly got the TextureMaster down pat.

I especially like the way that you're sharing the alternate views with us. Since this kind of work used to only be possible from one angle, it's a bit of a shock to see it from several.

Very impressive! As usual.

Damn ! I HATE TICKS. when I practiced if I went into a pasture with ten people and there was one tick the bloody thing ended up on me. I am glad this one is only a painting, but boy does it bring back times best left forgotten. Great Tick.

He does seem to be a very happy tick, I thought they were supposed to be nervous though  It's not surprising that you took so well to the TextureMaster process. You are doing magical things with it. I'm amazed at how well you got those cool legs to blend into the body. I think that "unwrapped" texture maps are works of art in themselves
