Well, I DO carve stone, and that's one of the most elegant and eloquent scuptural shapes I've seen here...We have Moore sculptures in Vancouver at Queen Elizabeth Park, I've crawled on them, and sat on them, and they don't have this perfection of proportion...
This one joins your 'Fly Standing' as a favorite, Andre! :tu: :cool:
Well done Andre :tu: :tu:
I like it :tu: :tu:

Hi Andre;
This is a very clean and well defined object.
In a way it's quite astonishing, cause I have
something very similar to this in my sketch
book. It's more like an stretched eye. I wish
my broken scanner could wake up again, so I
could share it with you. And about the title
"pregnant woman", It's very smart! :tu:

Like others, I saw this and immediately thought - Henry Moore. Totally different to any of your previous posts, minimalist but wonderfully elegant and expressive. And I agree with Kokoro, I too think it's your best. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Well, you're right Andre - it was a surprise. I hadn't expected it to be a link to one of my photographs! Glad you like the flower though - it is a pretty flambouyant species.
