Hi Ron, I will try to send you a photo of a banana plant in the not too distant future.
Good looking jungle scene. Looks dark and humid, deep jungle.
A mangrove is a tree that grows by the seaside. There are several different types. Ex. Red and black, those are the varieties we have along some of our coastlines, they act as a buffer zone against weather, and as a safe haven for young fish. They play a very important role in the protection of the environment.

very nice pic, captured the atmosphere of a a tropical jungle very well, You're lucky there aren't any hard core botanists because they don't look very much like the banana trees around here :tu: :tu: ::

Hi Houdini, to be botanically right, your image is called a "hand of bananas". A bunch can be made up of as many as 14 hands. Nice looking image though.

Well I am with DM on this one, I think your forest is wonderfully inviting and well executed. Little do people know that not only are you a zbrush artist but a genetisist (sp) as well. This forest is actually in Alaska and you have brought the wonders of bananadom to the North by crossing them with a local tree. Not only are they good to eat you can burn them in your fire for warmth!

Man...the first thing I see when I get up and now I'm starving. Way to go Ron and Pix! Hey Ron...check out my Z-TOOL BOX thread. Pix just posted a Shark script there and I can see the makings of a FINE catfish somewhere in there. ;)

I've run through pix's script quite a few times as slow as I can but I cant see the bit where it gets from round to having sides. I wonder if someone could tell me which command that was.

Hi Ron, I have to say that your lighting in this image is excellent, the way that you have the bright sky behind the trees and then the lower and furtherst part of the trees being defused, with the plants that are close being in focus again, I am enjoying your green period.
