This ZScript adds some basic, useful functions to ZBrush.

In this version:

Grid- A snap-to-grid feature. Set the spacing and various other options. Includes a view grid feature.

Reset- This is an extension of the regular Reset button, but can individualy reset certain things like Materials and Lights.

Download Here (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1012092657uot.txt).

Let me know if you have any problems, and any suggestions. :)

Update: I added a snap-to-Z slider.

Now THAT'S a powertool.
I will most definetly appreciate THIS tool. I find myself using ZBrush more like Photoshop everyday. :)

Very nice idea. It will definitely be a nice touch for ZBrush, and very useful at times.

Mentat7: There are a couple tricks currently available to you. One of them is Davey's Inbetweener script. The other is the Info menu within the Transform palette. When in Move mode, it shows the X,Y,Z positions of your currently selected object. You can change the numbers manually for exact placement.

Cool idea you might ask davey if they have a zscript code so once the Mouse is off the Canvas it acts like the ESC key.
or maybe a right Click button zscript code so it acts like ESC key.
of course after a 3D is picked and placed on the canvas.
right click probley would be better to control instead of the mouse off the canvas.
just a Thought

Thanks for the comments. EZ, yes, I would like a better way to cancel it. Unfotunatly there is no ZScript support for right-clicking. I think Macs don't have a right mouse button? Maybe a double click could do it... :)

Well, I've added some new stuff. But still no brainwaves on how to cancel other than the Escape key. Any ideas? Or do you think it is fine as is?
And as always I would appreciate any new ideas so I can kidnap them. :D

That's a really excellent idea, Muvlo. :tu: I'll have to give it a test drive when I get the chance.

Way to go Muv!! Still waiting for that automatic can opener script.... ;)

Thanks. :)

Mentat: Go to ZScripts\Modeling samples. This is what the can opener found in Pix's head, or as close as we can get. Pix resists more literal attempts for some reason... ;)
