Here's the script demonstrating how I made that explosion in "The Last Day" image. What really helped the realism of it though was in the original image, I had used two different glow materials, one with an orange glow, the other with a darker red glow. I kept it to one glow material here, however for the benefit of the demo users.

I'd recommend running this script with "Show Actions" turned to "On".

thnx WO, these scripts are so interesting...like watching behind the scenes of how a movie was made.....and it is a great learning tool....so much to learn and only one lifetime to execute our findings....grrrrrrr.....I need a zscript to add 24 more hours to the day.... ;)

Hi Smiles,

It looks like when you played it, ZBrush missed the command to switch to the Ring3D tool. Try running it again -- it will probably be fine.

I've just tested the script, with no trouble.

Sometimes, ZBrush hiccups a little when replaying a recording. :)

Maybe try exiting ZBrush entirely and restarting the script from scratch. That's the only thing I can think of.

This could happen by eating too many beans.

Great script! and fun to watch.

Thanks WingedOne!
