Well i posted a message almost one week before it was called New Modelling Scripts Required. Inside that post i proposed the idea to create a section where we can post any resource of Zbrush that means our tools , images , materials etc. These resources will be then used by Zbrush user to make their own creations. Because today is the opening day of Zbrush library i have included 2 tools (yes they are *.ztl files so copy them to your ztool directory and directly load them with the load fuction of tools) and several images. You can use them to create your images in any way you want. Just make sure that you mention my name, please. And domething else THIS IS OUR AREA, WHICH MEANS THAT YOU ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO POST YOUR ZRESOURCES (TOOLS,MATERIAL,SCRIPTS,ANYTHING).

The second one is an arms. I must first state that these tools are not perfect as models and not high in polygons. But they should be easily manipulated to your needs , because the bottom line that modelling in Zbrush is easy.

Thanks Khlon for the ztools and a good idea for a thread. However, I guess I fail to see how these images made with 3dsmax R2 and photoshop 5.5 fall in with what you are trying to accomplish here?

OK Khlon 'ol bud! You trying to shut down my Z-TOOL BOX (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=004151) ? I opened it up on March 2. Check it out. Seems like we are duplicating ourselves here. Wanna join up?

hmm seems to me like the z-tool box is more for z-scripts, and this one is more for models etc.

The Z-Tool Box uses scripts so that large complex memory hungry tools could be produced and consequently not have to be uploaded to the forum- a resource draining task for everyone involved. ;)

As Mentat says, at the end of running a script, you have the tool on your system...
This takes up little space compared to an uploaded tool...
Pixs' apple tool for instance is 2.88 megs...
A script like my table top I posted on Mentats thread is about 29 KB in comparison... ;) In the end you have the tool either way!

Well I have no problem to post scripts. And i have no problem to join with Z-tool Box. But first i must make clear. If you want to post zscripts here is not a problem or prefer to post them in ztool Box no problem at all. However as i said here what i am going to post are Ztools mainly and maybe some materials etc. Stonecutter you are right zscript show you how to do it and they also build the model and are small in size. But you are also not right because you have to watch all the process to get the model (except if there is any switch i did not find and produce the model directly ).The purpose is not to show you the process but to help you build your own favourite liabray inside zbrush which will be ready made tools low in resolution easy to manipulate so YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOSE ANY TIME. I mean there are a lot of zscripts out there. If for example i want to build a panther model. Why use a zscripts and wait until it finishes and not directly load the model and manipulate it. The images that are here are not created with Zbrush you are right. You will not going to see more images created by non Z-Brush software here. For now on everything posted will be at least 90% Zbrush. But as i said this post is not here to exhibit my own gallery. But to give resources to everyone which he can then use to build his own work. This area will be constantly be updated. And i am going to post every model i make. Of course in the end if you do not find it usefull then there is no reason for me to continue posting.

I do not try to compete with anyone and i do not consider myself experienced artist. 3d graphics is just a hobby and i try to have fun like everyone here. I just think that there not enought Ztools out there available and materials also.As long we share these resources i do not care where you will post them. This is cleary your own choise and i have no problem to join with anyone. But i will still prefer at least to keep the tools download area seperate to help other users find any model they need more easily. If this will go well may be all user here can cooperate and build a site for Downloads only. It would be a good idea don't you think?
