I have been working on this character off and on for a few weeks.
His origin will become know later when I get the ok to spill the beans.
Other than that I am just working my way around this hairy creature detailing all the armor and stuff.
Hes on his way to Maya to be rigged for the hunt after I get the whole sculpt and mapping thing done.
Heres what I have so far

Have to say Jason that this is one nice model, i love all the varying designs and texture details. I pity the UV nightmare ahead but look forward to the textured model.

Finally got the low and the high version of the character.
Boy talk about some horsepower needed to make this character. he was 21million polys with all subtools combined,
So had to streamline that down to 10 million combine and get it to reconstruct. (which we all know how fun that can get sometimes)
So heres the low and the high With that I can now go to the UV fun finally
Of course with all these DWIII submissions my characters now are about as cutting as modeling a rubber duck.

yeah i've been workign with models around 20-30mil, in fact one of my currents is using HD up to 711mil, haha, but i think i might use one level lower.
I still like this, i think its nice and would've fit right in with that DWIII stuff.
as far as my own tastes, i think the head is too large, but you and i have differnt styles, still i can appreciate it as a "jason" work.

Lookin' great!
Just curious... How were you doing the UV's? I've just started getting into that more lately. My knowledge of UVs extends to the AUV/GUV buttons in ZBrush along with cylindrical, planar etc...and that's about it. Need to learn more about this stuff.

I use blender for my UVS so I can UVW (unwrap them)
This way I can Paint what i want, either on the UVS directly in Photoshop, or in Zbrush on the model using projection master

This guy has alot of fun textures to paint;)
The space in the upper right on the UVS is for his inside mouth, later on

thats a good cycle so far, he seems to walk sort of heavyish but that could be just because of his legs not being like ours, i like the hair.
also at this angle he seems like he's coming to get me, its scary.:D
