Fractal use of the Cameyo Script :)
:b3: Take a simple volume 3D (here a simple ring3d deformed)
:b3: Make the first Multimarkers (for polymeshes if you want)
:b3: And draw with it on Logo tortoise method :) (you can built again Multimarkers ! Fractal indeed :D))
Of course Kid of 50 (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011602) Sktetchbook
And the same multimarkers by hasard has made a curious torso :D
All are made in 5 minutes :)
And all is real 3D Volumes exportable possible ! (polymeshes for the Entiere Version users  )
Have Happy Zplacing!
Pilou
Ps you can find this marvelous Script at Zplace (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011372) and some concepts at <A HREF="http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011681" TARGET=_blank>Use of Zplace ;)

Hi Andre
As a demo user I can't make a script
But I think that is very easy :)
:b3: Take any volume 3D and draw it at any Place
:b3: Press "Get Status" (process begin from this place)
:b3: Insert your
Regulates of Rotation X,Y,Z (10°,10°,10°)
Regulates of Move X,Y,Z (10,10,100)
Regulate of Scale X,Y,Z (0,0,0) (0 = no scale, 1 = growing, -1 = decrease)
(all combinaisons are possible
It's all :)
:b3: Press "Snap" for a continue Drawing
:b3: Press "Markers" if you want make a first multimarkers
For the beginning just press the key "8" for vertical drawing :)
When you have made 20 pressing "8"= you have a beautiful Multimarkers :)
:b3: Markers "Off"
You can now drawing with this multimarkers following your inspiration and the keyboard :)
( :ex: Press the icone of the Multimarkers in the Tools Palet (the new Volum is ready :)
If you want to move the multimarker "Snap Off"
If you want make a multimarkers of Multimarkers Re press "Markers On" :D (fractal process)
Hope this precisions help you !
:ex: Don't forget at any new position of start to press "Get Status"
You can insert any volumes at any moment !
That's seems complex but's very easy and quicky :)
And there is also other function :)
And Also the "Arrays" : another powerful functions ! Working with your new MultiMarkers ! Fractal again :D
With some practice you will make some incredible ways of the Logo tortoise :)
The more difficult is the inspiration :D
Have happy Zplacing!

Just Escherian doodle :)
Only Cameyo's Zplace (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011372)
+ Kid of 50 (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011602) Sketchbook ang just one gear3D primitive (growing in X axe) :)
Or how a gear became a garlande of shells :D

The "seashell garland" is very much like an M.C. Escher drawing. Nice work. I wonder, after seeing these images, could a formula be made with this zscript to make interwoven fabric? Portions of Andresloy's piece look like woven fabric. If those pieces could be isolated and repeated, well, you could create full 3D fabric. A great way to make 3D baskets or straw hats, or placemats. Very inspiring.
Congratulations Pilou! Last one is very impresive and elegant!! Like i a lot :D :D :D :D You're the master in cameyo's zplace and 50's kid sketchbook!!!

Hi Extra
I have forgotten to say that all what you see on this thread is real 3D Model !!!
It's the strong of the Script!!!
It's yet 3D fabric, not a drawing!!!
Of course you can use too a portion for drawing something like with the tool "CloneBrush" :)
Pilou
Ps What is "woven" ?
pss

09-11-03, 11:38 AM
"Woven" means, when fabric threads are interlaced together. One over the other. A basket can be Woven out of palm leaves for example. Or hair can be Woven into a braid. Hope that explains it.

Hi Kokoro
Yes I am some addict of this Script
But it's for showing the possibilities !
People don't suspect the powerful of this builder of 3DVolumes univers :)
Because if you have a powerful computer (I have not) you can take one of this form as a polymesh !!!
And make with it some incredible architectures
Hope many people use Zplace :)
Have happy Zbrushing (more painting as I have seen in another thread ;)
Pilou
Ps Ok the right form color is not famous but it's for show the Random color process
inside the Script and showing the form model :)
Cameyo has not make a choice selection so hasard choose for you :)
May in a future version :)
Color on the left is the "Candy texture"N°23?
You can take a texture for your form !!!
Ok I have make some Adjustment at the end :)
yes, frenchy this is very good of you to show the possibilities of zplace. i use it myself quite regularly, only in a different way. i use it for speedy modeling, as for example the basket in my eremit image or the letterwork in my zmascot... yes the polymesh feature is very fine, as it lets you build things by applying zplace repeatedly... the power of the comp is unfortenuately here an issue, mine is very old and weak... yes i am painting a lot lately, but will be back to modeling and zplacing... :)

Some doodle with an old technic :)
A little tip
Before use the texture , clone it two or three times or work in RGB only !
because when you move your object in "Edit mode" if you press the "Shift key" by hasard in the same time
your texture will be some destroy (this arrive at each time ! Anti crash texture :) (http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=Frenchy%5FPilou&ViewArticle=2627)
So your beautiful texture must be to remake)
That's arrive here (I am a little lazy so I redraw the Alpha with 100% intensity for regrab it etc...
but it's not absolutly like the original (it was more beautiful
You are inform now :D
Have happy Zbrushing!

Hi Kokoro
Very Nice Mandala !
But Have you seen the other great powerful of the Script ?
At the end of the process (here your Mandala) you obtain a Mandala in 3DVolume and reuse it in any position with the Multimarker Icon!!!
That's valuable for the Array Section !
For the normal section just press "markers" before the process for obtain a Multimarker !
In the two cases you can make after a polymesh !!!
What can ask better !!!
Cameyo has made a very good job!!!
Have Happy Zplacing!
Pilou
frenchy, yes i know that, but those tiny figures at the boundary you see each has alone about 80000 polygons , my poor comp would just break down if i were to make a polymesh out of the mandala. but thanks for the tip anyway. :)

How are you guys makeing rings of things?
is there some way to set a pivot and rotate the 3d objects around it?
we do rings of things with zplace. there is at the bottom abutton, called arrays. when you press this, it reveals the polararray fundtion. thats we use : choose an object, put in the parameters (first try the default to see what happens) press the button and voila...

Just a little reminder for the newcomers :)
:b3: Take any volume 3D (here a gear3D with some gravity (on Y) for deform it)

:b3: Load the Zplace Cameyo's Script
:b3: Array section : Press P-array
That's all :)
You have now a Multimarkers Object ! (here a ring of Gear3D)
:b3: Close the Array Section (not obliged but more easy for a"clean screen button parameters")
Yo can re-open it when you want :)
:b3: Click the new icon Multimarkers in the Tool menu
:b3: Draw it anywhere on the Canvas
:b3: Press "Get status" (for valid your object position)
:b3: Take the regulates as you want : Move Size Rotation
Size =0 no size, size = -1 decrease, Size = 1 growing
:b3: Press "Snap" for a tracing form (Snap off for just move: possible anytime)
:b3: Play with the numeric keyboard for Logo Tortoise drawing
For a new beginning in another part of the canvas Just redraw the Multimarkers and Press "Get Status" !
Seems some hard but it's very easy and simple!
5 minutes for all the draw upside !
Have fun!

Ps
If you press "Mark" you will obtain a new Multimarkers of Multimarkers (fractal indeed)
so carreful with the memory possibilitiy!!!
All is real 3D object and can become polymeshes

WOW NETO!
I got it to work :) thanks Pilou! I am going to make some neat things with it now :)
The tutorial is great!
hi frenchy, your last repeat on the explanation for zplace made me wonder. you said you mark multimarkers. well i did not do this before, as i thought it would not be possible... strange enough, it works, but unfortenuately you cannot do polymesh from this markered multimarkers. the polymesh only contains the originally marked things. :( so if you want to have a polymesh of all you need to do polymeshes inbetween...
Frenchy Pilou
09-29-03, 11:46 PM
Hi Kokoro
As a demo user, I can't make "classical polymeshes" !
I have not never try !
So for your problem ask Cameyo, I am sure that he clarify the situation :)
You can send a mail to him!

I just scared myself sufficiently to close down zbrush in fear and wonder (again).
Those measures and counterweights by which I comprehend the world fail over and over as I am taken beyond technique and into absolute astonishment.
Like discovering fractals again for the first time and that first *deep* look at a star filled sky, this script which redelivers and exposes the power of Zbrush is just awesome (in the truest sense of the word). Infinity squared. We are not worthy.
And coming from an atheist you may take that as being fairly significant.
If you've not done so already I urge you to forget everything and discover this script.
Thanks FP, Cameyo and Ofer the last 20 minutes were profound.

That you see is just an "2D" up view but in reality that is pure 3D !!! (if you take an object3D start of course)
So imagine the crazzy architectures possible :)

How it's easy to make textures :)
Draw something with the SnakehookBrush (just draw before a little sphere3D as a base )
Grab it
Texture "Transparent" HVRep = 5
Sphere3D "Double" On
Load Cameyo's Zplace
Move X = 10, Y = 0, Z = 0
Rot X = 10, Y = 0, Z = 0
Scale X,Y,Z = 8
And here just draw the first (little) on left ("Get Status")and "Snap" it toward the right !
(you move it with the keyboard : of course you can make any other ways :D
And so on folowing the inspiration !
All takes 3 minutes :)
You will obtain some crazzy whirling foliages
