sketched this female alien this mornin' over coffee....and I will be doing her in z when I get some circumtances taken care off...I am playing around with her as an alpha/texture right now...but I scanned the drawing and inserted her into one of my own z stock backgrounds and played with some of the psp setting/filter effects...negative image and solarize....looked kinda funky so that I thought I would share it will the community...here are the both of them...I know the water gets old but it's just a thing I have. I sometimes like a plain ole black background and sometimes the water..I know contraversy exists over simple filters and effects, but sometimes to get a quick result it's better for me to go that route..does it make it art or non art..I dunno...I am just an country boy with a vivid imagination...sorry :( Yall have a great weekend...

That's a GREAT drawing Ron, and I hope you get your hands on ZSpheres soon...That would be a mind-blowing model!

Looking good, Ron, it has a raw primal energy about it. :tu: :tu: :tu:

And I don't think it matters a damn whether you used filters to get an effect - it's what you do with the tools and the end result that count, not the choice. You're just using the tools that are available and appropriate to achieve an artistic effect. It might make that achievement easier - but so does using a ruler or the line stroke to draw a straight line, or ZSpheres to model, and nobody criticises that.
