a hood for a large rat

Hello to all-this is my latest piece i am doing.It is from a black and white pic found in "The World Of Warhammer" guide and I just can't seem to figure out how to make the hood.Any ideas. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010225484acb.jpg and a bit more is complete

so you sketch out yer idea on the canvas first? interested to know if anyone else takes this approach..pros and cons? I can see your image now...couldnt tell what it was in the first pic...but now it makes a bit more sense....I will lurk in the background and await the final image.... :tu:

I am trying to make a realistic 3D hood and cloak for my rat but I just keep running in too troubles with th hood getting distorted.Any ides?
