How do I embed large full res images in my posts?

Everytime I post I attach a pic...but it only shows up as a thumbnail that you have to click on to enlarge. How does one imbed those larger format pics that I see on other peoples posts?

...uploading somewhere (http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&q=free+hosting+images&btnG=Recherche+Google&meta=) your image before, then link it with the icone "Image Insert"
(not the first of the list because there is publicity inside)
