Amazing indeed!
How the heck do you model fingernails!
Wow! And the clean sharp detail on the sword is a lesson in itself.

Wow those are awesome hands. Hands are something that seem to avoid me. I can only ever draw hands when they want to be drawn and I find the same applies to the 3d side of things. Well done

2nd Concept: Head and facial features

I am not certain this will be the final head model. I will most probably experiment some more with the lower face wrappings.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I will try to address each one later on. I will post a walkthrough and tips/techniques as well.

nice , I like the pose you're going for.
Weird way of working you got there. But I'll probably understand once it all fits together.

Is he gonna be in some Siberian Landscape with lotsa snow ??? Cause I kinda picture him like that :)

DROOOOOOOL!
I'm still very new to Zbrush so I do hope that you will shed some light on how you do your magic!

THat whole interaction by the face, hair and scarf thingy is really nice.

Now, This, is a post I'm going to follow. I'm guessing the hair is not a 3d object, but brushstrokes right? If not, then how? If so then How? Also the scarf, just a grid selection deformation? or a funky texture map projected onto an object and then made into a mask and deformed? Half the fun of this image is just trying to guess how things were done. A great WIP.
