Tiger Lily (the new Paintbrush)

I haven't seen much on the new Paintbrush yet, so I decided to play around with it a bit today.

I'm posting two versions of this. They were both done with a spotted alpha and low z-depth. The first is the roughed in version, using only the paintbrush with bolder strokes. The second took the first further by using the smudge brush. The new brush does a good job of giving a painted effect.

That second bloom is perfect, Tami. I've always been a fan of this kind of flower painting, both in ZBrush and PSP. Excellent.

Thank you all for your comments. I prefer a look with more realism like the second better, but the first shows more of the potential of the brush. I like the way and paintbrush works for 2D images and I really look forward to using more of it.
