View Full Version : MAKING WINGS...AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD

Below is an earlier picture I did while experimenting with wing techiques. The wings on this creature were created using ZSpheres but with no Membrane settings. Instead I created a low poly Adaptive skin (Density of 3). Then I selected PREFERENCES>QUICK 3D EDIT MODE and turned on PF (polyframes). I then used a brush size of 1 and simply dragged the vertices out from the bone structure. I then divided the mesh so I would have more poly faces in the membranes so I could push them out and give them curvature.

Those are the wings I've been trying to do (in between trying to do everything else. I have to learn to focus on a plan ~L~) Thanks, Mentat for the tip.
