Zbrush, mind alteration feature.
Everywhere I look I saw faces, in the carpet, in the pebbles on the street, in the weaves of the carpet, the curtains, the fag ash on on my keyboard, what's interesting is that since I bought Zbrush no longer are these fellas matchbox sized golums, they cover half the wall, the whole street and are seemingly endless in number and diversity. What seems a little uneasy at the moment is turning them off.
Is there a name for this experience?
Zeddyeyetitus :qu:
umm, "seeing faces" ;)
but if anyone were to tell you the name of it, you might then glimpse the Way of Naming, and this is not the time, yet ;)
best wishes,
H, who also sees faces in denim and ceiling spackle

Are you ready to learn what the next stage is? Can you take it?
From personal experience I should warn you that shortly you will start dreaming about Z - so no escape even when you're asleep, I'm afraid! :D
When I was a programmer, I frequently dreamed about problems and solutions; now it's all about methods for doing things in Z. Unfortunately, the best ideas all seem to evaporate during those crucial few minutes on first awakening.

lol, :) and its already begun flycatcher.
BTW. A trick to calm the faces is to attempt to call something up on demand, a squirral, a dog a goose, 9 times out of 10 I won't see something at all satisfactory, and it puts a brake on the rest for at least for a little while.
Something definitely rewired itself in my head though, and I'm not complaining, its all good.
All my life I've wondered how such incredible works of art such as those displayed on this forum were achieved. It was a mystery and one for which I could realise no solution. After some exposure to low poly mapping and modelling in max the heights being displayed on this forum seemed all the more beyond me.
Now I know that isn't true, I've seen what was 'impossible' occur before my eyes via zscript, and I am truely grateful to all who made this program happen and to all those that support it and each other too.
I've no illusions that it will be easy, but the way is here and for now at least that is enough.
This post probably belongs in the community forum, sorry about that, all non zbrush wonder related thought processes crashed on thursday night.
