A sci-fi legend has passed on. Very sad. With the death of him and Gygax, this has been a somber year for geeks.

yesterday was a sad/joyus day, i recieved my 2001 blu ray in the mail and hours later i found out he died.

I grew up reading Clarke. He was truly one of a kind.

dmacary, you're joking right? thats how i meant it, tounge in cheek, like many things in the film. i just took the cube3d and initalized it at 10,40,90.
i don't mean that clarke dying was a joke. this was just a quick way for me to do a homage today.

2001: A Space Odyssey is my favorite movie of all time, and I've read Clarke's novel a bunch of times.

1,4,9 by the way are the numbers 1,2,3 squared (the 3 space dimensions) the fourth is time.

He has a new novel out that involves the 2001 story line.
