I would like to export my high poly mesh into xsi using a displacement map.Could you guys tell me the proper steps in generating the map in zbrush.Everytime I try,it does not work properly,but when I downloaded the "monkey head" and sword from this site I got the displacement to render perfectly.So my problem must be that I am not generating the map properly.

Down-rez your model to the lowest subdiv level before making the displacement. Then just export the map from the alpha menu.

hrmmm tried that..
I want to take my dino mesh in this threadhere (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=015852)and export it into xsi.
I can't seem to make this happen properly :mad:

So do you want to export a mesh, or a 2d displacement map? If you want to export the mesh just send off an OBJ from the tools menu.

I want to export both the map and the mesh.But I seem to be missing some key steps in th process cause I can't get it to render it like the sword or monkey head.thanks in advance for any help :cool:
