Please visit the QuickLinks for ZBrush 1.51 (the QuickLinks can be found from the top right corner of every page here at ZBC).
There are currently three tutorials regarding lighting in version 1.51. And what may surprise you is that the material plays a major role, as well!

ok thx Aurick,
I saw them.
I search if we can use light for projecting pict...
ex: I want to do shadows in the forest,
with a light projecting a b/w pict and use it in same time to make a volumetrique shadow...(is it clear?)

you can use your black and white picture in the fog panel for the volumetric effect.
if you use the fill command to add your image on the background layer, make sure too that the material is not the first one (this one doesnt take shadows)
For using the picture for your lights, there is a way -- use the Global Ambient and Global Diffuse options in the Light palette. You should read that section of the ZBrush Manual (available from the Support page at www.zbrush.com (http://www.zbrush.com), as it explains how to get the most out of these often overlooked features. They are very powerful! But they need a bit of set up to use them well, and the manual explains it.
