Well, I've taken charge of a Godzilla film project and I am in dire need of modelers and animators for the job.

I am horrendous at 3D Modeling and animating, and so I need some help.
Well, other than the thousands of particle effects needed, I need the main creature in 3D. Mr. Godzilla himself has already been basically designed and needed to be modeled.
Art-Minion-Andrew0 of Deviantart has kindly designed the monster and can be seen here: http://art-minion-andrew0.deviantart.com/art/Godzilla-revamp-2-77328317

If anybody actually feels up to the crazy task can post their thoughts, ideas and eventually pictures of models here.

man500, this would be like a lifelong dream of mine, to work on a godzilla project. i would love to help work on this in one way or another. i can model but know very little about animation.
heres a bigG i made awhile ago, never got around to the detailing phase.

That models a heck of a lot better than I could do, but yeah, it does need detailing.
You could work on the project, I just need the design I posted modeled.

okay, i'll give it a shot, others are still welcome of course to make it, i'll do it for fun and if you want to use it thats cool. do you have any other drawings from a different angle like the front? also how many fingers does he have on his hands it looks like 3 fingers, does that include a thumb making it 4? also the same for the toes, it looks like 2 big toes and the stubby third.

man500, sadly I am going to have to opt out of this one. the more I look at your drawing, (which is a great design in itself), the less I feel like this is Godzilla, I’m not into the whole iguana/velociraptor thing you have going on, I think it takes something away from the idea of G and what he/she represents, it seems to much of an animal, I don't see the intelligence there. Perhaps if I hadn't started to model it without the spikes I wouldn't have seen this but without them there’s nothing Godzilla there, not even the rough G skin. I’m sure there are people who love this design but for me its too reminiscent of the American G, which brings up nothing but bad feelings. So I’m sorry once again, I wish I had seen this before I offered to help but sometimes things just need to reveal themselves.
Here’s where I left off, tons of work was still needed but even at this stage it doesn’t feel like Godzilla to me.

Hey, that's okay. It just that since you actually went along to model that, could you post the model up somewhere for download so I could get somebody else to help finish it?
Excellent model by the way, sorry if it wasn't what you had in mind.

sorry but in my frustration i deleted it. it was a total mess anyhow and only would've restricted anyone who worked on it.

Well you aren't the first to back out, let me assure you that.
