what the..?? what have you done to your image??? oh... why do you use .GIF format?? It totally lost it's color depth...use .jpg insteed.. And nice head.. give him some eyes and some theeth and change to .jpg so we can se the fully of the textures. They looking great so far.

Oh yes the jpg looks much better. I like the areas with dimples/bumps. But the horns might benefit from being single objects. At least that is what I find myself doing alot, adding alot of detail to a model that would be better of modelled by themselves and then added to the picture.
Otherwise good model, good "warrior scream" he has got going there. And very nice TextureMaster skills.

I think he said the JPG was too small.

oh lol! i missed it! Right under the picture. To big? Why doesn't you compress it then? with paint shop pro for example.

I have studying the male body(for the purpose when i painting) and find out that you forgotten an muscle part. It looks a bit weird without it. So here is what's missing.. hope it helps.

The missing muscle is the "Lastisimus dorsi" I think that is the spelling :qu:
BTW nice modeling and texturing and the jpeg looks better IMHO.

very good job :tu:

The only problem is the crease that starts in the upper arm that defines the bicep. It is perfect in the upper arm, but it continues to the lower arm. It should stop above the elbow. Instead, it cuts across the band of muscle in the lower arm. I don't know the name of the muscle in the lower arm, but is shouldn't have the vertical crease in it. Otherwise, it looks great. :tu:

Nice project you got going. The only thing I would suggest is to start doing some test renders with all the pieces you have completed. This way you can start setting up your lights and working in your composition.

hi, i just put some together and add some lightning. aaaargh lightning is difficult

please tell me what you think...

well *hrm* what i'm think? Ok no offence man, but i think you should await with making of bodies until the zbrush 1.5 demo are realised. All of the body parts are great but they just doesn't fits togheter... and i like the backround. You can make grass better than me :D :D :D :tu:

Yes, lighting is tough, but once you spend the time figuring out certain styles and effects, you will become much quicker. Plus, in v1.5, you can save your light setups, which should also be a time saver.

As for the body-parts that are pieced together, once you get the whole thing modeled and placed in your picture, you can use 2.5D brushes to eliminate the creases or lines between body parts, so it is possible to make the arms blend seamlessly into the shoulders and make it appear as if the model was done in one piece.

hi, i know that the arm and the body didn't fit and i had a solution but it was too late to still do that when i posted the testrender, so this is my solution(hope it's better now...):

WOW! much better! very good. I dont know how, but you can mirror your left arm so you don't need to make a new one for you right side. just ask someone if you need it. cuz i saw that you used the same arm in the test render.
