The question is not as stupid as it may seem reading the title.
It occured to me when I was reading the Dominance War rules and brief.
I know what I can do with Zbrush and I don`t have any philosophical doubts tormenting my soul about it.
I am curious about how a Zbrush work, I mean completely done in Zbrush, would qualify technically. Let`s say I paint a background, I polypaint the colors, I model lots of tools and then "freeze" them in 2D to create a scene with lights, best render, some postwork with the 2D tools. I suppose that`s the 2.5D thing I`ve heard of sometimes. But that wouldn`t be a "model with a max 7000 tris" nor "made with any 2d package", it wouldn`t be full 3D nor 2D.
Again, I`m very happy with this wonderful program as it is (except a few buggies, okay :)) but I`m wondering if it could be useable in the aforementioned competition. Or if a Zbrush image would be called "concept art". Maybe it`s because my lack of experience, it looks to me that most of the works that fall in that category are 2D and I don`t see why a Ztool posed in front/back/lateral/etc view wouldn`t be a great concept.
If anybody had the patience of reading through this, I`m waiting for opinions.
Thanks in advance.
