A very promising first sketch - I especially like the arch of the bridge and the stream with its small cascade. Looking forward to see this develop. :tu:
It looks very promising, I particularly like the bridge. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Cheers for the comments, here's an update..
I've not had a great deal of time to work on it today.

I think i'll have a few people on the bridge, some more trees, sort out the sky then start on the detail.
Thanks again,
Mik

great job so far Mik...My dad did this type of scenery. Wish I had the knack to do it as well as you appear to be doing. Keep us updated and dont force the image....you are doing nicely on it. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Coming along great! Very nice update! :)
The details are coming along nicely. I cannot wait to see the finished image :ex:
That is looking really nice, Mik. The rushing water is expecially nice.

Nearly finished, any suggestions for improvement at this stage would be greatly appreciated.
I might just leave it as it is, i'm not sure yet......

I think the left one is winning! ;).
Very well done! I like landscapes that tell a story, and this one certainly does.
A cow or a few sheep in the pastures would be a good touch, that is if you wish to continue. It looks great as is to me.

Excellent work - fully lived up to my expectations from the initial sketch. I wouldn't add anything else to it - I think there might be a danger of making the composition too "busy". Looks just fine as it is to me. :tu: :tu: :tu:
Lovely work Mik. :) :tu: :tu: :tu:
Nice job Mik. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Excellent work MIK! If anything is wrong with it, it's that the bridge does not cast a shadow, instead the person casts a shdow on the bridge, which is casting a shadow in the wrong direction . Do you get what Im saying? my wording si a little messed.
