View Full Version : MY FIRST GOOD MOUTH!

Hey guys,

As most of you know, I've been having serious problems with making a human mouth, both male & female.

I started with a sphere3d with a mesh reso of 32x32 (works well) and then snapped into draw polyframe mode. I cant believe myself, before all you guys helped me, I was starting with very high poly meshes (thats probably where the problem was).

Okay, so here's the first mouth that I've made that kinda resembles a human mouth?
I havn't perfected the technique yet (still learning how to model in mesh mode) but I think I'm getting there.

Please guys, I need comments on this one badly, since your feedback will reflect in my future human artwork.

BTW, dont mind the model, its just something I whipped up in like ten minutes, just stay focused on the mouth :D

you should of said please give me some feedback but don't give me no "Lip"

You might have solved my problem as well Z. I always go with more is better ~G~ I always max out mine to. Although I always use the pf now to see the facets. Still, smaller might be the way to go. You're proof of that. I like those lips. Very soft line.

Yeah, they are really looking good! I will have to follow your advice and give it a try.
