:) hello!by "perfect tool", i wish to talk about the use of zbrush in the very very specific(and difficult) field of caricature,as i think that zbrush offer a whole new approach:in the 2 picts join, french actor Louis de Funes, and actor and director Woody Allen,i followed the same procedure: trying to match the "ressemblance"'(the modeling looks like the model, don't know the english word)when i am more or less satisfied with this "looks like", i begin, with push pull, to go to the caricature i have in mind... In other words, with the real time render, i create a lot of steps of caricature, stopping when i'm ok...i think once again, that this change radically the way to "draw"caricatures... Of course, at the end, when snapshooted, you have everything of z to go further: here gel shading in the galasses of W.Allen for exanmple; hope you find them funny, i'll try to register a script of one, later, if it's interesting... http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1040144021njv.jpg http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1040144096dmn.jpg

I have to agree, these are wonderful! and I would love to see a script for them! To be honest, I have learned more from watching how others use zbrush.

Please share more caricatures when you get any done!! :tu:

Wow, when I saw the thumbnails for this I freaked a little but they're even better captures in full. Great job Marcel! :tu: :tu:

If you have the time I along with the rest would be interested in a zscript to watch how you made this great image. The second too I'm not sure who it is but you've really not only captured his character but an old style impression of those portraits. Just excellent portraits.

I would like to know how you did woody allen's hair. It looks very realistic. And the second one too, the subtle quality is just so achieved, absolutely great! :) :tu:

wonderful carricatures marcel :tu:

if you could share a script it would be greatly appreciated :)
Especially im interested in the gap between modelling and painting - where did you stop modelling woody allen and started painting?

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work :)

That's amazing. PLEASE post a script. I want to be good at ZBrush, but it just seems like everytime I just get worse and worse. I would like to see how the "pros" make their work. ;)
