I love his engimatic expression, I can't imagine what he may be thinking. Very well done wenna, he even looks a bit like Charleton Heston :)

I like the low level lighting you used in this portrait...It gives it a nice pensive mood... :tu:

Thanks so much for the support. EZ, it was free hand. My hubby didn't want to invest in a Wacom just yet until I showed him I would use it. I've done that before.. LOL He bought me a cheapie to start out with. After seeing me stumble thru this, he's agree to buying the wacom.. soon as funds allow.. :) I really found this relaxing, which is something I really need now.

Thanks again!

Wenna :
Everybody is an artist in their own unique way, so dont say that you are no artist!.

I really like the style of this image, nice and moody. And I was sitting and thinking that this style would be great for a childrens book (dont get me wrong - this is not an offence!).

In Denmark we had a guy who was most famous for his illustrations and stories. His name was Ib Spang Olsen, and he had the same kind of brush stroke that you have - his images are GREAT ! and so is this image of Moses.

Keep it up !

oh Carsen, no offense taken! I would be honored to be considered to do a Children's book. But I really think I need a few lessons yet.. :D

The most important thing about this painting
is that you enjoyed doing it wenna-you are an artist.
