I need to know if a laptop can run zbrush

Hello, I'm looking to buy the dell 1720, with the Nvidia 8600GT, 4GB of ram, dual HD, and the T7500 2.2GHZ CPU. or the T7700 2.4GHZ CPU. But I don't think it would make that big of deal. What do you guys think?

i don't see why not, i'm running it on a desktop which has lower specs than that right now. of course your performance won't be great and if its running 32bit zbrush can only use 2gb of ram.

What do you mean by "that big of deal"?

You have an operating system and a processor that's fairly fast. If you don't have Vista you'll have too much ram, but yes, Zbrush will run.

It will run fine!

If you have an option, choose a harddrive that runs at 7200 rpm (common desktop speeds) than 5400 rpm(laptop speeds),

by far more important than the CPU choices you mentioned
