I think material gives it a look like the statue was once submerged. Almost like the bronze jesus statue in the florida keys. Only cleaned up a bit after recovery. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200406/user_image-1086125637ugk.jpg

Very inspiring. Would have made a great material for the monday night underwater creatures thing-a-ma-doodle.

As you can see I have an idea what I'm going to use it for already. :) Thanks for the material. :D

Frenchy, you post the BEST links. I looked on the stone carvers site and came across a gargoyle that looked VERY similar to the one I sculpted...lol.
The gargoyle was my first model in Z-brush and was originally inteded as just a head study. As I played he just kind of evolved into the gargoyle he is today. As I didn't use any reference for him, it's kinda cool that he came out similar to a real one...Now I realize that I gotta resculpt the brows...DOH!

Hi, is it possible for u to show us the steps on how you did it? i mean, giving the material is really nice of you but i sort of don't like to rely on other people to make the materials i use, i prefer to be able to make it myself.

if it's not too much trouble, it's very much appreciated. thanks. :)
