Months ago I brought you Berserkules--crazy brother of Hercules--Now Smirkules the sarcastic triplet..

Here's the point of my post..I have been fumbling with the Lighting in ZBrush never-ever knowing what I'm doing--finally I thought I'd go thru with a method and got something that didn't look ZBrush--so much so that I thought I'd show newbies the difference I got by showing my first 'Unlit-ZBrush looking pic" and a Lit version with a result that look like something other than ZBrush (to me) first one is regular Z-- http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads0/user_image-1000772204ltk.jpg Now the ZB-lit' one that looks like another application (I think) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads0/user_image-1000772280yin.jpg Anyway most of the "masters" here have moved on from "lighting" to scripts but this SLOW student thought he'd share his discovery !!

Dom Yes that is one of your best ever--I really like the one you've linked to--just great !! About my work you wont believe me--but I dont know how I do my models --I just do--It's no secret --It's just that I go in and --deform a sphere in "taper" turn the draw size down and the Z intensity to 7 and do the details..move it around the canvas til I like it's position/angle --then add materials--and color--then add a layer and a background...and here is the first version of the pic again only this time the lighting was added using Painter 3D for Poser 4--here's the last "Smirkules" I'll ever show (overkill dontcha think)I have such a primative approach ..just call me Grampa Moses

Well in my opinion you have hammered out a style in however you do what you do that is all your own and you are continuing to refine it, I would hardly say you fumble about :)
