Aside from the wonderfulness of your technique I think you have also captured some of Boris's stage presence in this piece, his eyes and mouth speak.

Once again, a Kathy masterpiece! I agree -- he looks so dry that he could crumble away at any moment. And the eyes really are great. The only possible negative (and I don't know if it was the look that you were going for) is that the image seems somehow flat. I don't know if it's the shadows, or the sameness of the colors in the face, or what, but it's almost hard to tell where some parts of the face leave off and others begin. Might just be that my glasses are about 5 years old, too! :)

I love the image, though. That forehead is really something, and those bandages just plain rock!
