Just so it doesn't look like all I do is ask a bunch of questions, here's my first complete image.

Hopefully this is not a reflection of artistic potential :D . It was just something to work on that helped me wrastle with a bunch of features.
Next I'll try texturing in TextureMaster.
Thanks to everyone that's helped me get this far!
Gotta say, ZB is going to take some getting used to! :)

Hey, I like it! It 's real cool... especially for your first! I think that is a good way to wrestle with it! Experimentation is key! Keep up the good work!

Asking questions around here pays off. You have a good model which already has some good texture/color to it. :tu: :tu: :tu:

yah! very good one - the void inside mouth is great, seems to be a mute cry ... and that background/lighting is simply great - keep them coming, por favor!

Asking questions is how you learn, but you're not as bad as you suggest! there's good modeling and texturing in this pic, The one big mistake I see is the nose, it looks like one big super-nostril, but other than that, you've done an excellent first image. :tu:

Well, it's a Zombie, so I can chalk it up to decomposition! :)
Actually it was a ***** -up in translating the Y value to make the nostrils, and I kinda liked how it came out.
One thing I realized today was that I made the mistake of adding the wrinkles, cracks, etc. with the simple brush rather than the 3D brush which would have followed the contours better.
Nice work, Monkeyfarm. Glad to see you've gotten started, experimentation and creation are the real way to learn ZBrush! :)
