I've got the sculpting bit down (at least the mechanics), but I'm struggling with how to best create characters out of multiple parts. All the tuts I've seen (like the Balrog) skip some seemingly important steps, like how in the world do you work on more than one part and still be able to manage the relationship of one part to the other?

I have sort of figure out markers, and to an even lesser extent multi-markers, so I'm not totally clueless, but I'm having a hard time putting it all together.

Thanks!

Well, I'm not sure if this is the absolute best way to do this, but this is what I do.

Get your first part, and snapshot it to the canvas so you can see the front, side, and rear views. Then pull in the part you want to be in relation to the first one, and move it with the alt+mouse1 button. you can put it in front of any of the views, and see if it is proportioned correctly, and do any extra modelling needed to get the result you need.

Hope this helps.
