View Full Version : Samurai - Learning Experience

Started learning Zbrush a few months ago, and did this model to learn all the things about displacement maps, bump, transfering everything to Max and render, skin shader, modelling and texturing in ZBrush etc, doing custom brushes etc.
Never planed it to be a final image (just did the torso) but am quite happy with the result.

I know some parts could use some more work but I think I will apply that knowledge on the next model instead of overdoing this one.

Based on Hiroaki Samura "manji" character from Blade of the Immortal

Wow! This is really cool work mate!! nice to see a samurai made on Zbrush, never seen it before :D . I think it's excellent.
