I`ve been really busy on some arty projects and I haven`t had much time to mess. So I did this afternoon. This one has some heavy photohop after treatment.

i love his expression and the colourscheme in here the best... and am very happy to not remember i’ve ever had a dream like that... or had to dream in a similar position :)
all Z and PS? not that i could even sketch something similar like that, not to mention modelling (even more not to mention within 1 afternoon, bwahaha!), i find that his right shoulder does not appear 100% right... i’ve encountered that prob when i tried sketching a multi-armed goddess a year ago or so and never found out how the indian sculptors of dancing shivas and the like manage to fool the eye of the beholder and make them so convincing!
anyway: another one of your masterful paintings just went straight into my special folder! thank you for sharing!

:tu: :tu: Fantastic as always Southern! :tu:
One more reason for me to keep plugging away....I bow before your greatness! ;)
As usual, Glen, very nice work. A little on the disturbing side, too, which only makes it better.
At the same time, there's a major "aaaargh!" factor here. I've been working on a piece that's way to similar to this to finish now. The biggest difference was that mine has two arms rather than four. You did the same thing to me with Corrosive Marine, too. :p It's certainly funny -- but it sure is frustrating!
:tu: to you for a work well done. Back to the drawing boards for me...
Fantastic work as usual, and expected Glen. jaundel, I think that the right arm has a blade or some object in it. Is that the arm you are speaking of ? If it is not, my apologies.
Glen, would you care to give the group a few pointers on how you go about creating the water effect?

The water is simply a flip of the top half with a coulpe of photoshop ZIgZag filters thrown on to it. I do a bit of smudging around the edges usually. TO be honest, it`s not that good a piece of work. The rings of ripples are not created by anything and is no liquid distortion under his legs. I did it for a bit of relaxation this afternoon.
Aurick. DO NOT STOP WORKING ON A PIECE JUST BECAUSE IT IS SIMILAR TO SOMEONE ELSES!
I would love to see the work you are doing at the moment. It can`t be plagiarism if you are discussing it. This type of image has been done by a thousand of us over the years including a few million poser artists. Go for it and add your own dimensions.
Or you could just post a Bryce image and say you did it in ZB :) oops..don`t start :)

LOL...Glen stole my water....roflmao...just kidding of course...but I have to tell you taht I may try to do a piece like this after looking at your work too...so know tha tyou inspired it if I forget to mention it...but you know it wont be anywhere near your standards or as detailed knowing me...I dont know if its true or not but they say immitation is the highest form of flattery....I really like how you do when you decide to relax...very ultra kewlies as everyone has said.... :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
Powerful and inspiring as always... :tu:tu :tu:
LOL
Okay, Glen. I'll go back to work on those two pieces once I've finished the one that I started this morning (and considering how -- different -- it is, I'm going to be very peeved if you snatch it, too. ;) Actually, it's kind of funny -- like Armageddon and Deep Impact coming out a couple months apart.
I've got a lot of work to do in order to match your level of quality, though.
By the way, something that I forgot to mention in my previous post: I like the way you put the Z for ZBrush and the 46 for your ZBC number on his shoulder as a kind of signature. Very subtle, and very cool.
Nice job, as usual. I like how a quick piece for you is still top quality.
I wonder what the fascination with crucifixion is...
I would be interested in seeing the All Z part before the PS work. Is that something you would be willing to share?
No matter. Thanks for all the great work you do!

Great use of color and light Glen. Pulls the eye right to the center piece. In that respect, it's very classic in approach. :tu: :tu: :tu:
Incredible, after seeing the "Baybysitter" and this one!
I'm a fan
Top work man,.... top work.
