Not exactly the greatest image in the universe, but a first shot at pulling off some of the things I couldn't do in the demo. I've got the whole molded head going, but you can see my natural "painty" art style coming on through. Next time, I'll have to plan my picture instead of making it up as I go along ;) Hints, tips and comments welcome!

Thats a really good start reactor! Keep at it! ;) :tu:
A suggestion I can give is to read the manual and quicklinks (if you havent yet). Two excellent sources of information and inspiration. Also feel free to shoot any questions this way too. there are tons of people here who can help. :D
Happy ZBrushing!!

Hi! There is nothing wrong with your "painty style" you have managed to create some interesting effects in textures here. We all develop our own "style" anyhow. But in Zbrush it really does help to plan ahead to some degree at least. I still have a habit of running out of room on my canvas and having to expand it. And sometimes we get what I call a "sucessful experiment" Good start!

Hi Reactor,
I think we can all recall our first posting. What will amaze you is the amount of growth you can achieve, with the software, as you continue with it.
Planning out an image, for the sake of composition, is always a great start. Quick sketches of image elements (yep, with a low tech bit of paper and pencil ;) ) helps solidify a sometimes vague idea.
But, in between those carefully planned sessions there is the play time - just letting something happen as it will. Which can lead you to some wonderful discoveries.
You are off to a good start; have fun :)
