your idea for a wallpaper that helps you organize your desktop, made me jealous.

here's my wallpaper, with a bit of an ad for my site :) since I don't advertise on my paintings.

I designed it to keep the stuff I'm using all the time to the sides of the screen inside the slots, and the icons that I have yet to decide where to sort but am too lazy to actually bother, in the middle of the screen, inside the circle.

hope you like it.

Thank you cneofotistos !
Looks great - going to download and see if it works with my whacked icon setup.

finally gave me a reason to actually take stock of all the STUPID icons i had on my desktop. deleated half of them at least. i don't know why i hadn't cleaned up before. anyway...thanks ver much, it looks pretty cool. might make one of my own sometime. for now i'll be lazy and let others do the work. thanks again.

I prefer a plain grey screen myself. With a single folder alias "stuff" into which I chuck everything that is hanging around to be sorted later.

But nice wallpaper anyway.

Looks like it would go well with the mac kaleidoscope skin, "boilerplate"

I see why Kathy was complaining about being thirsty! :)

You've done some very nice things here, too! Since I'm trying to gain weight, which means I need to drink more, yours is the one that has wound up being my wallpaper. For now, anyway. heh heh It was a tough call.

Since I use my latest project in progress as my ongoing desktop, I can't use this, but it's a treat to see! :tu:
Nice work, C! :tu:

That looks great, cneofotistos. Never even thought about being able to share it. Keep thinking of my friend who has half a screen of icons. Makes me shudder every time she asks me to help her. But these would work great for anyone who likes a neat desktop. (as in tidy)

Great idea.

what a sooper-zooper cool organizing background, mein Freund! though having my desktop usually filled up with icons its still much more organized than my desks both at the office and right back there behind me... any chance you create some reallife organizing-wallpaper soonissimost? TIA :D :D
