This is, apparantly, part of a project. While she is covered, there's more from her wardrobe I'm told she'd like to wear.
Actually, I was playing with Glen's cloth tutorial, as well as metallic textures. And, of course, Pixologics Blades tutorial. Just needed someone to stick it all on. ;) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1015317745rxc.jpg

Good work! Good models!! :tu: :tu:
That skirt is never going to stay up -- you realize that? And I'm not even going to ask how those cups are staying in place. LOL Very nice work on her accoutrements. I like the texturing, materials, and the modeling on that skirt. :tu:

lol Yeah I know, aurick :D
I'm still strapping everything together, so in the heat of battle, there aren't any embarressing happenings!

Thanks for the comments!
Mentat - yeah, those are big hips, ain't they? Got a might carried away in ZBrush...
flamable - hair, hmmmm, yes hair. I'm thinking that I will. Afterall, one can do only so many bald headed women :D ;)
This next image is the fella I think I might pair her up with....

This is most wonderful, the palette, tones and details are splendid. And I love the approach of having a full-figured woman, rather than the normal anotomical perfect female.
You are workin some Mojo here!

hey filament...you know actually the hips spread like that either just shows she is a mature female of some years or the fact that she has given birth....I think that gave her a bit more character....all yer pieces are really really taking some excellant shape....thankyou for sharing yer works and keep us posted.....I love yer phrase mucking around...I have to start using that in the real world.... :tu: :tu:

That shield/blazon/wall thingy behind the Demon guy is pretty cool looking. Where did you get the pattern that appears in it?
Your changes to the demon elevate it to a whole new level. VERY nicely done! I love everything about that background.

Found some time to play with this some more. Experimenting with lighting schemes, retexturing of the skin. Made the belt a might larger, and began redoing the armor. There's still plenty more to do - finishing the armor for the legs, possibly something for the arms as well. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1015791225ghh.jpg
Wow! This is wonderful work fil.
She looks relaxed yet ready for trouble.
I think I prefer the softer hues, and smaller armours. Wonderous. :D :tu:

Hey filament9,
Very, very well done. She does not look like a poser figure - this is a good thing ;) She is a warrior sent by Mother Earth :tu: :tu:

That headdress is really awesome. I bet that you'd make a few bucks if you turned some of this stuff into OBJ's and put it up for sale. :) Great work!

Wow, thanks everyone.
I have to admit that getting a Poser obj. into zbrush is the best thing to happen to a poser model...
Over the next 2 or 3 days I hope to find some time to work on this one some more. Although I might end up doing nothing more than shovelling the driveway! :D
:) :tu: Good images. all of them show good composition! Once you sharpen up the anatomy and texturing these will be ready for battle!
:) :tu: Good images. The flowing textiles look convincing. the celtic cross behind the male figure looks fantastic it really helps bring the image in to a nice composition! one more thing that might help on the demon is to lenghten the outstretched arm and enlarge the hands. The elbow on the human body when at the side of the torso lines up with the middle of the navel.

Tried on some lengths of chain as a way to bringing together the various bits of "clothing."
At this point, I'm not sure if I will stick with that, or experiment with other types of coverings. Also, gave her weapon a bit of "heft" with an axe blade, following Pixolator's tutorial - which can be found HERE (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000041) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1016050084dxp.jpg

Good points bailey. I have noticed that Poser hands (which is where those arms came from) seem a bit on the small side. This, in any case, is true for the male figures. I haven't really noticed in on the female models.

Thanks everyone. :)
If you've not checked out Ken B's Sweepprofile script, you should. You can find it Here (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=004351) It's a tool I'd never used until after I watched the script. Afterward, I built some pieces to be used as a column. Worked out much easier then I'd anticipated. The texture is a realworld brick wall, and I thought worked out quite well.
The fog is P-shop. I'd been trying to make an Alpha and Texture to use in ZBrush, and ended up using it P-shop. Mostly since I was already there ;) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1016130125ybd.jpg
 WOW
This final is astounding! I love EVERYTHING about it.

Beautiful Image Fil....Capturing the solitary but magical and powerful life of the Warrior. : :tu: :tu: :tu:
Magic! The monochomatic treatment gives a whole different feel and power to the image. Are you planning to finish a color one as well? Would be interesting to note the change of the piece.

Love the mono look....you really have done well with this piece with each of it's different renderings....they all have a slight difference and each takes on a life all their own. superb    and needless to say another right clicker.....

I'd like to add my congrats...This turned out great, and I agree with the comments regarding your choice of monochrome technique. It adds a feel that I think would have been lost with color...(Although I am also curious about what this would look like in color... ;) )
:tu: :tu: :tu:
A fine piece of work!
I just had to revisit this piece again.
You reminded me why I love Sepia so much (yes I know it's not "quite" Sepia).
This is just so awesome. :D :tu: :tu:
I'm very impressed with those columns! They really look great, and the combination of both texture and coloring do them justice. Your warrior lady looks very much at home among them. :tu:

Thanks :) to everyone. The tonal quality came about out of curiosity. I'd wanted to see what the image looked like in black and white. From there I thought more on a bit of a duotone - though that might be as evident as I was after. Still, I am happy with the overall results.
