Strange Question....

Ok, this may sound like a strange question, but I assure you its not :D

I've been modelling, and all of a sudden I remembered back when I first did the tutorial ZScript that introduced me to the modelling, I had two symmetrical red dots to work with. It made the initial modelling so easy. Well I've finally found out how to get those dots back, however they are not even. One is up and the other is down. Would anyone have the answer to this as it would help out immensly :)

Go under TOOL:MODIFIERS:SYMMETRY and try clicking on X,Y, or Z one at a time, at first. Which way those dots act kinda depends on how the object you are working on is rotated. If one isn't working the way you want, try another instead.

A simpler way is to go into Edit->Rotate, hold down the shift key, and click inside the gryro...This will align the object, or you could just click on the 'Gray' section of the gyro, and rotate it manually...Then your 'dots' will be level.

Oh and another silly question which as been bugging me since I first clicked "join"..

What on earth are the orange dots next to some of your names? I notice I have a highly unimpressive one little grey dot. What do they mean?

The dots indicated the number of posts you have made. You get a new dot for every 100. At 500 or 600, I forget which, they turn orange. And when you get to 1000, you get a star. :)
